The Zhiyuan Research Institute and Tencent Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement on December 18, 2024. The two parties will engage in in-depth collaboration in various fields, including large model research and development, exploration of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies, and the construction of an open-source ecosystem.
According to the cooperation agreement, the Zhiyuan Research Institute and Tencent will leverage their respective strengths to promote the deep integration of large model technology with industrial scenarios, and explore technical solutions for optimizing training and inference of large models in diverse computing environments. Both parties will also work to build an open and innovative hardware and software ecosystem to facilitate the development and application of technology.
Tencent stated that it is committed to integrating AI technology into industrial scenarios to create the closest AI to industry. Tencent will utilize its technological expertise in cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence to merge with the research outcomes of the Zhiyuan Research Institute, jointly exploring new applications and scenarios for large model technology and unlocking the limitless potential of artificial intelligence technology.
