In daily life, many people encounter situations that require signing contracts, and the content of these contracts is often obscure and difficult to understand. To help users better comprehend contract terms, Adobe has recently launched a new "Contract Intelligence Feature" in its Acrobat software. This feature, supported by an AI assistant, can automatically identify whether documents and scanned files contain contract content and summarize complex language, making it easier for users to understand.

The launch of this feature marks a significant upgrade for Adobe in the field of PDF management. Users simply need to upload their contract files to Acrobat, and the AI assistant will quickly analyze the content, extract key terms, and generate relevant questions to help users gain a deeper understanding of the contract details. Additionally, this feature can compare up to ten different versions of a contract to ensure consistency and accuracy among the versions, preventing users from missing important information in lengthy contracts, such as key dates, specific policies, and potential fees.

To benefit more users, Adobe offers an additional service for its Acrobat AI assistant at a monthly fee of $4.99, available for users with free or paid personal accounts. Currently, this Contract Intelligence Feature has been globally launched on desktop, web, and mobile devices, but it only supports English for now, with plans to add more language options in the future.

Adobe states that this new feature aims to save users time spent understanding complex contract content. According to a survey, about 70% of consumers do not fully understand all the terms when signing contracts. This statistic highlights the necessity and urgency of Adobe launching this feature. Abhigyan Modi, head of Adobe Document Cloud, said: "Every month, billions of contracts are opened in Adobe Acrobat, and the introduction of AI technology will greatly simplify the user experience."
