Currently, companies face significant challenges in transforming AI experiments into actionable solutions. Data from Cognida indicates that while 87% of companies are investing in AI, only 20% have successfully deployed their solutions into production. Feroze Mohammed, founder and CEO of Cognida, pointed out in an interview with VentureBeat that companies have reached a turning point in AI adoption, with the main challenge being how to apply AI models in actual production.
To address the barriers to AI adoption, Cognida has launched its Zunō platform, which accelerates predictive modeling, intelligent document processing, and graph-based advanced solutions. Cognida claims that its approach can reduce the typical AI implementation timeline from 6-8 months to just 10-12 weeks. Anup Gupta, Managing Director at Nexus Venture Partners, stated that Cognida is one of the few companies able to provide verifiable use cases across multiple industries.
Currently, Cognida has deployed solutions in over 30 companies. For example, Cognida helped a large garage door manufacturer reduce its product catalog generation process from six months to just a few weeks by quickly testing new designs using generative AI. Other successful implementations include a 70% increase in invoice processing speed and a 1% reduction in customer churn for a SaaS client, resulting in significant revenue impacts for large enterprises.
Cognida plans to use this funding to support three main initiatives: market expansion, intellectual property development, and capability building. Mohammed aims to establish Cognida as "the practical AI company for enterprises" within five years. Gupta further noted that in the coming years, every workflow in businesses will see more AI applications.
This investment reflects a broader trend in the enterprise AI sector, shifting from experimental projects to practical applications that provide clear returns on investment. As companies continue to face challenges in AI integration, solutions that demonstrate concrete business impact within existing systems may attract increasing attention in the market.
