With the continuous development of artificial intelligence technology, Monday.com recently announced its AI vision, launching three key features: AI Blocks, embedded product enhancements, and an upcoming digital workforce. These new features are designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-market companies enhance their competitiveness, enabling them to respond flexibly to changes in business dynamics without increasing resources. At the same time, they can help large enterprises accelerate processes hindered by scale.
Or Fridman, the head of the AI product group at Monday.com, stated: "Our goal is to make Monday.com an AI-first platform, where artificial intelligence is not just an added feature but a core component of business operations." He believes that AI can address some of the most challenging business problems, including improving project predictability, enhancing decision-making quality, and automating complex workflows.

AI Blocks are one of the core features of this platform. Users can easily set up AI Blocks in the Monday Pro and Enterprise plans, allowing them to automatically perform specified tasks based on work data. These tasks can be customized for specific projects, and users can complete the setup in 30 seconds without needing specialized technical knowledge. AI can assist users in prioritizing tasks, assigning workers, extracting information, tagging, translating and improving text, and even summarizing updates.
Additionally, Monday.com has embedded AI-generated product enhancements that can automatically identify issues within projects and make corresponding adjustments. For example, it can proactively identify risks in large projects, making them more predictable and manageable. The upcoming digital workforce will provide a range of AI agents that perform tasks automatically, expected to launch in March next year, with the first agent assisting new users in onboarding training.
It is worth mentioning that Monday.com places great importance on data security and reliability when launching these features. Fridman stated that the company adheres to data residency standards to ensure the privacy and security of customer data. Through these new features, Monday.com hopes to enable businesses to achieve more efficient operations at lower costs, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, which can "hire" digital employees to handle tedious daily tasks.
Fridman concluded: "Our mission is to democratize AI, making it easy for every company, regardless of size, to access and benefit from these technologies."
