According to CCTV News, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education announced that this year, it will focus on developing 11 key artificial intelligence application scenarios in primary and secondary schools and launch the cultivation and construction of seven "Jingwa" intelligent agents. The aim is to empower the five-in-one integrated education system with AI technology, promoting students' personalized and diversified development.
These application scenarios cover "AI Teaching Assistant" for intelligent lesson preparation, intelligent classroom quality monitoring, and smart homework/question setting; "AI Learning Assistant" for intelligent error analysis and resource recommendations, autonomous writing correction, and foreign language learning assistance; "AI Parenting Assistant" for smart sports and mental health assistance; "AI Assessment Assistant" for smart comprehensive quality assessment; "AI Research Assistant" for an intelligent teacher professional development platform; and "AI Management Assistant" for smart campuses.
With the implementation of these scenarios, seven "Jingwa" intelligent agents with unique strengths will be put into use. "Jingxiaobao," the nurturing assistant, will integrate educational, medical, and sports data resources to provide suggestions for children's life and growth. "Jingxiaoxue," the AI learning companion, will provide personalized learning paths based on students' interests and hobbies, offering customized learning suggestions and feedback. "Jingxiaojian," the health assistant, will integrate sports, aesthetics, nutritional meals, and health resources to create a personalized model for promoting students' physical and mental health. "Jingxiaozhuang" integrates safety tips, learning Q&A, exercise partners, and classroom environment monitoring to assist in school break activities management.
In addition, "Jingxiaoshi," the training assistant, provides comprehensive educational and teaching auxiliary tools for teachers. "Jingxiaobang," the teaching consortium, provides one-stop services including family education course sharing and AI-powered family education consultation. "Jingxiaosi" builds a case library and lesson plan collection for ideological and political education and moral education, integrating the "small classroom" of ideological and political education and the "large classroom" of society.
The Municipal Commission of Education stated that it will continuously iterate and upgrade based on the actual educational and teaching practices and AI technology, continuously launching more "Jingwa" agents. At the same time, in the process of promoting AI education, schools will cultivate students' awareness of data security and privacy protection, preventing risks such as excessive dependence and mental dullness among teachers and students. Previously, Beijing has already conducted pilot programs in six primary and secondary schools designated as artificial intelligence education bases by the Ministry of Education, 25 Beijing primary and secondary schools as pilot schools for AI applications, and 91 primary and secondary schools as smart campus demonstration schools, exploring the full opening of AI application scenarios.
