At the Shanghai Auto Show, which opened today, XPeng Motors held a press conference to unveil its new, cutting-edge "AI Brain" and announced the launch of its "AI Assisted Driving Safety Training Camp."
XPeng Motors revealed that the "AI Brain" will utilize an upgraded XPeng world base model. This model boasts a parameter scale 35 times larger than mainstream VLA models, aiming to significantly enhance the "AI Brain's" intelligence, enabling chain reasoning, common sense reasoning, and autonomous learning in unknown scenarios. Future applications will extend to XPeng AI robots and flying cars.
Addressing the recently highlighted safety concerns surrounding intelligent assisted driving, XPeng Motors announced the "AI Assisted Driving Safety Training Camp," which includes a beginner's exam, product manager co-driving sessions, and offline training camps to improve user awareness of safe AI assisted driving practices.
Furthermore, at the conference, XPeng Motors launched the "5C Flagship Edition" of the P7+ model, boasting a charging capability of 420 kilometers in 10 minutes and a 10-80% charge time of just 12 minutes. It is priced at 208,800 yuan. XPeng also announced that the 2025 XPeng X9 achieved over 6,000 pre-orders in mainland China and over 1,500 in the Asia-Pacific region within 7 days of its Hong Kong launch.
