iQIYI released its fourth quarter and full-year financial results for 2023. Throughout the year, iQIYI reported total revenue of 31.9 billion RMB, marking a 10% increase year-over-year; net profit reached 1.9 billion RMB, compared to a net loss of 136 million RMB the previous year. iQIYI's 2023 Non-GAAP operating profit was 3.6 billion RMB, a 68% increase, achieving scaled operating profitability for two consecutive years. Beyond its conventional content business, iQIYI is focusing on the development of new businesses, including overseas operations, online or offline services related to IP value-added services, and potential technological innovations brought by generative AI. iQIYI aims to establish overseas operations and AIGC as new business areas, cultivating and incubating a second growth curve. According to the financial report, iQIYI's overseas business made significant progress in the fourth quarter, with membership and advertising revenues both experiencing double-digit growth. AIGC's core capabilities in the film and television production sector include language expression, art and video production, and creative expansion. These three capabilities empower creators in the four stages of planning, development, production, and promotion.
