Recently, the Mita AI Search team received a lengthy 28-page copyright notice from the China Academic Journals Electronic Publishing House (CNKI). The notice stated that Mita AI Search has been providing users with a large volume of citations and abstract data of CNKI academic literature through its platform without obtaining permission from CNKI, and this behavior is considered a serious infringement of CNKI's legitimate rights and interests.

Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen admitted to citing fake AI-generated cases in court documents. He used Google's Bard for legal research, mistakenly regarding it as a 'super search engine' rather than an AI chatbot. The three cases cited in the court documents do not actually exist. Cohen stated there was no intention to mislead the court and acknowledged his lack of understanding of AI legal technology.
