YouTube Music Tests AI Music Host Feature: Provide Track Stories and Fan Anecdotes, Directly Competing with Spotify AI DJ
YouTube Music announced on Friday the testing of an AI Music Host feature, which can provide users with music stories, fan anecdotes, and commentary, directly responding to Spotify's AI DJ feature launched two years ago. Spotify's AI DJ has already been able to provide curated music and AI voice commentary. YouTube Music, based on its conversational AI experiment, also launched an AI Conversation Radio in July this year, allowing users to customize their listening content by describing their preferences.
