Cloudflare Automatic Configuration File Abnormality Caused Global Downtime, Restored Within 6 Hours
Cloudflare caused a global network collapse due to a system configuration issue, leading to widespread service outages including ChatGPT, X, Spotify, Uber, and others. Over 2.1 million abnormal reports were received at the peak of the outage. After emergency repairs, core services were restored within approximately 6 hours, and affected platforms gradually regained normal access.
