Amazon Nova is the newly launched next-generation foundational model from Amazon, capable of processing text, image, and video prompts. It enables customers to use Amazon Nova-powered generative AI applications to understand videos, charts, and documents, or to generate videos and other multimedia content. Internally, around 1,000 generative AI applications powered by the Amazon Nova model are currently operational at Amazon, aimed at helping both internal and external builders tackle challenges and make significant progress in terms of latency, cost-efficiency, customization, information grounding, and agent capabilities.
