Recently, media reports have indicated that Apple plans to introduce AI features for the Chinese version of the iPhone by mid-2025. According to informed sources, Apple’s teams in China and the U.S. are actively adjusting their "Apple Intelligence" platform, with the goal of launching this feature by May this year.

It is reported that to achieve this goal, Apple will collaborate with Alibaba to jointly develop AI features for Chinese iPhone users. Alibaba's co-founder and chairman, Daniel Zhang, responded to rumors of the partnership with Apple at the World Governments Summit 2025 held in Dubai, UAE, stating that Apple needs a localized partner in China and ultimately chose to collaborate with Alibaba.

During the launch event for the iPhone 16 series, Apple CEO Tim Cook mentioned that this year's iPhone is designed specifically for "Apple Intelligence." This feature, enhanced by AI, can not only assist in refining text and generating emoji but also makes Siri smarter.
