At the 2025 China Mobile Cloud Intelligence Computing Conference, Yang Jie, Chairman of China Mobile Communications Corporation, revealed that by 2030, AI tasks will account for 60% of total network traffic. This indicates that future networks will become increasingly reliant on AI technology, placing higher demands on computing network infrastructure.

Yang Jie pointed out that the "rebound effect" of computing power is gradually emerging. It's projected that by 2030, the growth rate of inference computing power will be four times that of training computing power. This shift will drive new demands for computing power services and accelerate the industry's transformation towards intelligence.

China Mobile has made significant progress in computing network construction, primarily in three areas: First, it has deepened its diversified computing power layout. China Mobile has optimized its "4+N+31+X" computing power layout, expanding the coverage of the nation's eight major computing power hubs. Currently, it operates over 1 million computing servers and has built 13 national and regional intelligent computing centers, whose deployable computing resources account for one-sixth of the national total.

Second, it has strengthened the integrated fusion of algorithms. China Mobile completed the 400G high-bandwidth, ultra-high-speed network direct connection project for the nation's eight major hubs, which was selected as one of the top ten super projects of central enterprises in 2024. In regions like the Yangtze River Delta and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, multiple national hub computing power scheduling platforms have been deployed, driving rapid breakthroughs in algorithm technology.

China Mobile has also enhanced its all-domain AI capabilities. The company has built an algorithm fusion scheduling system powered by large AI models, integrating over 250,000 adjustments or links and aggregating social resources from over 300 cities. Currently, the company offers 24 products, including cloud phones, cloud computers, and video ringtones, showcasing a comprehensive upgrade of AI technology. The number of VR product users has exceeded 190 million.
