According to Sina Tech, the head of Midea Central Research Institute's humanoid robot innovation center recently revealed that Midea will focus on iterating its full-humanoid and humanoid robot products this year. It is expected that in May, Midea's self-developed humanoid robots will be deployed in a washing machine factory in Jingzhou, Hubei Province for trial applications. Furthermore, Midea plans to gradually deploy these robot products in some stores in the second half of the year.
In terms of home appliance robotization, Midea will also launch several innovative platforms this year. Midea will combine robotics and AI technologies to drive differentiated innovation in product lines such as air conditioners, ovens, scrubbing machines, and sweeping robots, forming new product platforms and exploring market commercialization.
