At the 2024 Baidu World Conference held at the Shanghai World Expo Center, Robin Li, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Baidu Inc., announced a remarkable achievement: the daily invocation of the Wenxin large model has exceeded 1.5 billion times, a figure that has grown by more than 7.5 times in the past six months.
During his speech, Li revealed that in May of this year, when the daily invocation of the Wenxin large model reached 200 million times, he and Baidu's senior management discussed the future prospects of the large model. They predicted that if the daily invocation could increase tenfold within a year, from 200 million to 2 billion times, Baidu's position in the field of artificial intelligence would be further consolidated.
Li further pointed out that within just six months, the daily invocation of the Wenxin large model has nearly reached the target they initially set, demonstrating Baidu's strong momentum in the application of artificial intelligence technology.
